The Saint Petersburg Pulkovo International Airport is one of the most important in Russia. Its two terminals operate flights to national (Pulkovo 1) and international (Pulkovo 2) destinations. The airport is 17 km south of the city and well connected to the urban area via buses and taxis. You’ll see the stops straight away, just outside the terminals. The Airport Express is the bus linking the city to both terminals. It leaves every 20 or 30 minutes. Lines 13 and 39 take you into the city centre.

Shops tend to be open seven days a week without closing at lunchtime. Opening times tend to be 10 am till 8 or 10 pm at night. Some food stores are open 24 hours a day.
