Airport de Casablanca

Casablanca international airport’s official name is Mohammed V. It is the largest in Morocco, situated 30 km south of the city. The airport is internationally connected with numerous cities in Europe and the rest of the world.

You can reach the urban centre by train, bus or taxi. Or, if you prefer, hire a car at the airport itself.

Trains: Once an hour a train leaves for the centre of Casablanca. They also leave for Mohammédia, Rabat, Salé and the industrial city of Kenitra.
Bus: The journey into the centre of Casablanca lasts approximately one hour.

Business hours in Casablanca

Normal opening times among local shops are Monday till Saturday, from 9 to 12:30 am and 3 pm to 7 pm in the evening. Casablanca’s large shopping centres open Monday till Sunday. Neighbourhood shops (such as the markets and populous neighbourhoods) also open on weekends until sunset.

Only during the month of Ramadan are opening times limited, shortened from 9 am to 3 pm.
